Spriggan, Size Changing Fey Hero
Langdon Hanks was a world class conman and thief. He stole for the fun of it, and never really worried about consequences. After all, who was he hurting? Rich people? He never considered, sadly, the cultural significance of things he stole, never realized that he stole things *for* rich collectors, often from public museums.
That is, until he stole the Spriggan Sigil, a complicated silver knotwork piece from Celtic Cornwall that was visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. The moment he laid hands on it, it merged with his flesh, and he was transported to another dimension, where the diminutive ghosts of ancient fey giants made very clear to him that theft was unnacceptable, and that he would be paying for his misdeeds by helping people and defending them against dark forces from now on.
Now able to become as small as six inches tall, or as large as 60 feet tall, he fights all manner of evildoers, but is most attuned to fey and magical threats, that he can sense. As part of the Portland Paladins, his size changing powers help defeat creatures from pixie size to kaiju.
Neither he nor John Bernlad, the Green Knight, have yet acted on their budding romantic feelings for each other.
