The Portland Paladins

The Portland Paladins , also Vanguard, operate out of Portland, Oregon, and include:

Fletcher, quite possibly the world's best archer, with a quiver of trick arrows for any occasion

Green Knight, publicly known to be John Bernlad of Bernlad Heavy Industries, a battlesuit hero billionaire philanthropist.

Marius, a humanoid killer whale genetically engineered by a government program called Project Moreau that made many anthropomorphic animal metahumans.

Osprey, a princess from a hidden island kingdom with a matriarchal society, blessed with the powers of an aquatic raptor

Spriggan, a size changing hero granted his powers by the fey. He can be tiny or he can be enormous, and his fighting style incorporates both.

Venator, a shapeshifting alien bounty hunter and detective, obsessed with noir films and novels.
 
Formerly, the cosmic powered heroine known as Starheart, who has gone missing, presumed dead.

The Paladins take responsibility for much of the West Coast and issues in the Pacific Ocean, and find themselves fighting aquatic kaiju perhaps weirdly often. They also find themselves up against Kairyu the Sea Dragon from time to time, and Marius and Kairyu have quite a rivalry, while there is a certain tension and possible romance budding between Kairyu and Osprey.
