BBEG Corrupt Cardinal: Jehan Froke, Cardinal of the Sun God
Cardinal Jehan Froke is the red and gold robed Cardinal of the faith of the Sun God, Amaunator if in the realms, some other harsh LN deity elsewhere, but still a God of Light. And he serves the church well. But his harshness and cruelty serve his true masters far better, for he has long belonged to Hell. A Cultist of *every* Archdevil, he bears all their blessings, and direct the Church of the Sun as the King of Hell desires.
When he is finally uncovered (and take a look at his spells and statistics to figure out how long that will take) he may *still* talk his way out of trouble. If he doesn't he'll still be under Sanctuary long enough to summon up more help, while the templars, paladins, and holy cleric of the Sun defend him from these blasphemers...
He's best used as a combination of Cardinal Richelieu and Claude Frollo from Hunchback in Notre Dame, a hard hearted, manipulative mastermind who is sure he he is right and sure he will never have to pay the piper.
