Punk Rock
Punk Rock is a young man of Pakistani descent, living in Redbridge, East London. He's also, very firmly, a punk, an anarchist, and a fighter for what is right regardless of what even his own religion or anyone else's says. He is still a practicing moderate Muslim. His real name is Butrus Farooq, but his English friends often call him Peter . . .or Buttress. He considered using the hero name Buttress, but decided truth in advertising was more important. He's new on the hero scene, having gained his powers unexpectedly at about age 19. He's not really sure where they came from, as he just happened to turn into a rock monster during a a punk concert at the Roundhouse in camden, where he was opening for a bigger act called the Suit Punchers. (His band is called Punks of Prophecy.) Now though, he's a junior member of the Knights of the Round, and the Vanguard, and fights for freedom and what is right worldwide.
