Saval is a member in good standing, a journeyman, in fact, in the Gearheart Underground.
He's an idealogue, believing that all tech should be free. He' s willing to do some damage to ensure it.
Saval is a highly competent engineer and sapper. His spells and skills let him make all manner of things to make buildings and structures fall down.
He knows right where to hit, and by casting Catapult on his keg of smokepowder, he can do 4d8 bludgeoning plus 9d6 fire to a target at exactly its weakest point...
