Bhal Nakatat, Lord of Silence, of the Haruk Gods
He moves his vast, muscular form with eerie precision and grace. Utter silence surrounds him. Even as his victims fall, not the slightest whisper of sound escapes. His great pawlike hands are deceptively dexterous, and sharp black eyes peer from beneath bushy brows. He wears little, only a breechclout of grey dwarf hide, and a necklace of teeth from all sorts of prey. His wild mane of auburn hair is constrained by clasps made of fairy skulls into a mostly disciplined single braid. Thick hair covers his red-brown skin, with tufts of fur at cheek and shoulder. He is silence, he is secrets, he is strength, he is self discipline . . . and sudden murder. He kneels willingly to his elder brother, his king. He is Bhal Nakatat.
