Tora Ven is a private detective and bounty hunter from a distant star system. Their ship crashed here many years ago and they were stranded. Now they have adopted earth as their homeworld, and fight for justice. They are also obsessed wth Humphrey Bogart movies and act like a noir detective.

They believe themselves to be the last Endlirian, having fled their native planet to escape a supernova . . . a supernova they believe was caused by the cosmic warlord and wizard known as Macros.

Venator is genderfluid, sex fluid, shapefluid . . . but their modern 'default' form is an almost human appearing feminine shape. Their skin tone and features most resemble those of sub-Saharan Africans. They are normally bald, and retain slightly pointed ears and overly large purple eyes.

They operate as a member of the Vanguard , usually with the Portland Paladins.
