Robin Copperhead Hunt-Locksley is a woman of mixed Native American and British descent. Specifically, she’s Kwakwaka'wakw or Kwakiutl on her mothers side, and nearly pure Anglo-Saxon English on the other. Family legend claims she is a direct lineal descendant of Robin *of* Locksley, one of the possible historical Robin Hoods. This is, in fact, true.  

From a very young age, Robin was  trained in archery and hand to hand combat by her father, in the English yeoman style, boxing, brawling, wrestling, and bartitsu. Her mother taught her the secrets of Kwakiutl archery and fighting arts. When she was 17, she was sent to Japan for several years to learn from a master of Kyujutsu and other arts. When she came back, she discovered that her modest family fortune had been stolen, and her parents killed, by unknown enemies.      

She dedicated herself to finding and punishing those who took her life from her, spending what little she had left on gear and specialized arrows. She discovered a vast conspiracy calling itself the modern Templar Order, and traced the death of her parents back to a person calling himself the Sheriff. She has not managed to destroy the Templars, and the Sheriff has escaped her many times. She has also found herself facing operatives of the Akuma ninja clan who were enemies of her Kyujutsu master as well as more run of the mill supervillains and monsters.Fletcher does not fight blue collar crime. She focuses on the true dangers to modern society: madmen, monsters, and money-grubbing capitalists. Despite this, she was recruited to the Portland Paladins by the Green Knight, who values her opinions, even when they are so very different from his own.
