Legends of Loria, Aluttlulu, companion of Ursugal
In Sumerian myth, the wild man Enkidu was tamed by feminine power, by sex, at the behest of Ishtar, and made a man rather than a beast. He was sent to oppose Gilgamesh, who was then being a tyrant. They fought to a standstill, and became the best of friends, lifelong companions, possibly lovers. Together, the fought the Humbaba, and the Bull of Heaven, and Enkidu’s death led to Gilgamesh seeking immortality.
In Loria, the pattern is the same. Alluttlulu is tamed, becomes the companion and lover of Ursagal, and they have many grand adventures together. The difference is that when they faced the Humbaba, they were moved to mercy, and respect of the forest. When they fought the Bull of Heaven, they wrestled it and wore it out, driving it off, not killing it. Thus uncursed, Allutlulu and Ursagal still live, and do the bidding of Heaven.
