Zeleus of Sparta is an ancient immortal, sustained and enslaved by vampire blood. He is engaged in what seems like ritual serial killing with the aim of raising his mysterious master.

Although written for modern day, he makes a good horror antagonist for any setting after heroic age Greece, with little change.
