#FATE Friday: Deer Woman (Emergence)

The Deer Woman is known by many tribes across Turtle Island as a fierce and kindly protector of women and children. She is beneficent to good men as well, but abusers, she lures in to the forest and tramples to death. Likewise, in the world of Emergence, she performs the same service for the Five Peoples. Should someone pierce her guise and notice the deer hooves she always has for feet in time, they might survive, as she runs off. Whether she is a spirit, one of the Little People, or a transformed human who died at the hands of an abusive man, her behavior and powers remain the same. When first encountered, she appears to be a beautiful woman of the same tribe or an allied tribe to the person meeting her. Only careful examination will reveal her hooved feet.
