Run, run, as fast as you can. You cannot escape the Gingerbread Man. This sinister fey appears to be an attractive half-elven person wearing  a Napoleonic era uniform. Its flesh is made of gingerbread, but fully sculpted to appear entirely real except on close examination. The Gingerbread Man is a consummate baker and manipulator, with a horrific propensity for turning people (especially children) to living gingerbread cookies, then using them as soldiers, and eating them to gain power.

The living gingerbread are classic confectionary constructs and  cookies, made from people.
