The Devorim: Vulture Bees from Hell
One of the Devorim.
The Devorim (both singular and plural, as
they are a hive mind) are vicious, sadistic
fiends who partake of both the vulture bee
and the spider wasp. Devorim build vast hives,
with captive, paralyzed victims held in their
waxy cells as they either slowly decompose
and become Devorim Honey, or as they are
fed that same honey and incubate the
Devorim larvae. The larvae slowly eat their
way out of the host, who of course dies in the
process. The eggs are laid in the hosts by the
Devorim queen, after they have been brought
back to the hive. They are found in many Hells,
but they also often make their way to normal
worlds in search of hosts.
