The Burltrap Husk

The burltrap husk is a dangerous undead

creature created, most often, by demented druids of

the circle of spores to wreak havok on those who

would despoil the wild, which they often consider to

be all humanoids.

Animated by a particularly virulent strain of

infectious fungal spores, the creature thrives on

sunlight, and is hurt by the energies of death. It does

not actually need to eat, it merely attacks by instinct

as part of the method of spreading its affliction.

A victim who is not saved in the first 24 hours

is very hard to save indeed.
