Medieval Monsters: the Cacus (MM3)

The cacus was believed to be a large, cave dwelling beast that dragged cattle off by their tails. It may have been a misunderstanding  of a Greek myth about Cacus, a  fire breathing cannibal giant who stole cattle from Hercules. Here, however, I have used the image as my main inspiration, and made it a predatory giant mole.
